Aneurysm: Arteries in Alert

The widening of a section of the bloodstream is a growing problem statistically and whose outcome can be fatal, as it raises the risk of stroke and internal bleeding in the thorax and abdomen. Medicine has found several solutions to this disease, prevention remains the most important.
The arteries are strong and flexible pathways that are responsible for transporting blood throughout the body as well as supporting the increased pressure generated by the beating of the heart muscle. It was understood the great importance, since they depend on an adequate supply of nutrients and oxygen to every organ and tissue in the human body.
However, these channels are not free of disease, and one of them is the aneurysm, which is defined as the widening, stretching or “ballooning” of a segment of a blood track, which is caused by the weakness of their walls and fat deposits that form over several years. The severity of this disease is significant not only because it puts at risk the lives of those who suffer, but because modern lifestyles have led to its increase.
Thus, although experts say many cases are caused by genetic factors (inherited from parent to child), also agree that some customs of the inhabitants of large cities, such as physical inactivity (sedentary lifestyle), constant stress take diet rich in fats and low in fruits and vegetables, have an adverse impact on the health of the circulatory system and are related to the emergence of aneurysms, which occur more often in the aorta (which goes from the chest and abdomen responsible for feeding the bodies of the ribcage) and brain.
In either case the injury may cause such swelling that puts pressure on nerves, organs and blood vessels nearby, causing injury, although in most cases quietly evolves until it breaks, resulting in internal bleeding and lack of irrigation endangers life. Also, although this problem can occur at almost any age, the figures show that the incidence is highest between 40 and 70.
